Cereal Boxes
Cereal boxes seem to follow a general code of how their packages should look: a cartoon character, pictures of the food, obnoxious text, and bright colors. As a result, the cereal aisle at the supermarket ends up looking a lot the same and sorely in need of new ideas. I wanted to make my boxes stand out as bizarre paragons of weird design. This alternative thinking lead to things like putting the nutrition facts and the barcode on the front or making the flavor text on the back the focal point.
